Great Barrier Island

Collections on Great Barrier change depending on the time of the year as follows:

Summer collection - mid December to mid February
Winter collection - mid February to mid December

Public holiday collections - click on the link to view changes to your normal collection day following a public holiday.

Summer refuse and recycling barge

This caters for the refuse and recycling needs of boaties and is free of charge. The barge will be operating at Great Barrier Island - Man O War passage, Port Fitzroy (from 20 December 2009 to 6 February 2010).
