Road safety initiatives funding
Auckland City Council's road safety team has funding available for the 2009/2010
financial year (starting 1 July 2009 until 30 June 2010). This is available to
groups or organisations who are interested in delivering road safety initiatives
in their local community.
The Auckland City Council Road safety coordinators are able to help facilitate
and provide assistance with your projects; however, we understand that you know
your community best so we encourage projects that are delivered by the community
for the community.
New Zealand Transport Agency provides the funding to local authorities via the
Community Focused Activity (CFA) programme. This funding must be applied for
directly through your local council.
Closing date for applications is the 23 March 2009.
