Danny Butt
Danny Butt lectures in Critical
Studies at the Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland. He is also a
Certified Management Consultant working in the areas of new media, culture, and
development, and partner at Suma Media Consulting. He was founding director of
the Creative Industries Research Centre at Wintec, New Zealand. He is on the
working editorial committee for the Digital Review of Asia Pacific, and an
associate member of The ORBICOM International Network of UNESCO Chairs in
Communications. He was also editor of 'Internet Governance: Asia Pacific
Perspectives' (Elsevier 2006) and (with Jon Bywater and Nova Paul) 'PLACE: Local
Knowledge and New Media Practice' (Cambridge Scholars Press 2008).
