Mainstreets policy

Auckland City Council adopted the mainstreet policy in May of 2000.

The Mainstreet policy is primarily operational in focus. It specifies the structures and processes to ensure the successful running of mainstreet programmes.

The policy is monitored and was last reviewed in August 2003.

It includes business development communities with the first one set up in Rosebank Road business and industrial area in 2005.
