If you are a resident within the parking scheme area, you can apply for an Eden Park parking scheme permit. To ensure that we do not overcrowd the streets, there is a limit of five permits per household.

Each resident needs to complete a separate application form and provide proof of residency. Additional permit requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please exercise discretion with regard to this limit, as too many cars in the streets will only cause new problems.

How to get a permit

There are two ways to apply for an Annual permit:

  1. Download, print and complete the Annual permit application form (2,009kb PDF)

  2. Contact us to have an application form posted to you

* Once you have completed the application form, attach proof of residency and post to us

Annual permits are issued to cover the period 1 December to 30 November the following year. To ensure that only residents in the scheme area have permits, all permits need to be renewed annually.

Temporary permits Image of temporary parking permit.

To accommodate your visitors on game days, temporary permits are now available.

Please note: to apply for temporary permits you must already have an annual permit.

There are three ways to get a temporary permit:

  1. In line with residents requests, temporary permits are now available at Eden Park reception, gate 5 on Walters Road. Office hours are 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri and 10am to 4 pm on a game day. Take proof of residency or your current Annual permit and personal identification.

  2. Download, print and complete the Temporary permit application form (44kb PDF)

  3. Contact us to have an application form posted to you.

* Once you have completed the application form, (if you choose option 2 or 3) attach proof of residency and post to us.

The number of temporary permits is restricted to 20 per year per household, however discretion will be exercised in order to accommodate special events. Please exercise discretion regarding the number of temporary permits you request.

Please note, temporary permits are only valid for the day scratched out on the card.

Proof of residency

When you apply for an Eden Park parking scheme permit, you must provide current proof of residency. Proof of residency may be a generated bill, bank statement or recent tenancy agreement that clearly shows your name and full address. It must also be dated within the last two months. Please note that rates and water statements are considered proof of ownership and not residency.

Proof of residency is required for all Eden Park parking scheme permit applications including renewals. This ensures that permits are only issued to residents, for whose benefit the scheme was established.

Unfortunately we can not issue permits unless your proof of residence is included with your application.
