council car park nearby. This guide includes details about Auckland
car parking buildings and open air car parks in the CBD, as well operating
hours, fees, lease parking tarrif, parking vouchers, debit cards and
maps where they are situated. All parking buildings have mobility access parking.

Environmentally friendly parking for hybrid vehicles and cars less than
1300cc is available at our Downtown car park. Located on level 1B by the main
walkway to Downtown Westfield Centre.
Motorcycle and push bike parking is available in all Auckland City car parking buildings,
there is no charge for motorcycle users to park if they use the dedicated areas.

Applying for lease parking
To apply for a lease parking space you will need to complete the following
forms:
Parking spaces are not guaranteed until documentation is processed.
Once processed, the customer will receive their plastic entry/exit card,
windscreen label and one of the lease agreement forms for their records from the
car park's cashier booth.
No spaces are allocated for "concession" lease parking. Customers are issued
with a "concession" windscreen label to display in their vehicles, and may park
in any available space with the exception of "reserved" spaces. Auckland City
Council does not guarantee space availability upon exit of the car park.
An invoice will be generated from the date of commencement to the end of that
month together with a $10 fee for each entry/exit card. There is a $25 fee for
each lost or damaged entry/exit card.
One month's notice in advance is required for cancellation of lease parking.
Cancellation must be requested in writing by post (Auckland City Council,
Private Bag 92516, Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141) or by fax 09 366 2599.

Car rental at car parks
Short term car rental is now available at the council's
Civic, Downtown and Victoria Street car parks from CityHop.
This is a flexible option for small businesses, those who
live in the CBD and do not own a car and people who would like to use public
transport to get into the city but need access to a car occasionally.
It is one of the ways we are thinking creatively about the
role car parks can play in our city to provide more transport choices for all Aucklanders.
