Rosebank Primary School Travel Plan

Works are to be undertaken at Victor St, Avondale Rd, Orchard St, Eastdale Rd, Bamford Pl and Aspen St.

The school travel plan programme is part of a region-wide initiative which includes encouraging children to walk to school, thereby decreasing the demand for vehicular traffic associated with school travel.

This project is for the installation of various measures for improving the safety and amenity of pedestrian routes in the vicinity of Rosebank Primary School.

Works consist of improving intersection geometry, road markings, pedestrian refuges, speed tables and lighting.

During construction there will be minor disruption to traffic flows. The hours of work have been restricted to minimise this impact.

Work is scheduled to begin 2 June 2008 and finish by 9 September 2008, subject to weather conditions.
