Map 8 (Tiverton Road)
Whitney Street to New Windsor Road
This section of Tiverton Road will be widened to accommodate four traffic
lanes (two eastbound,two westbound) during peak periods. This will ensure traffic
flows more freely at these times. On-street parking will be provided outside peak
traffic periods.
A central median will be installed to increase safety by assisting turning
vehicles. The pedestrian refuge at the top of Tiverton Road will stay in place.
Land purchase is required for road widening on the northern side of Tiverton
Road.
