Western ring route tolling proposal
NZ Transport Agency is consulting Aucklanders to see if they are willing to pay tolls to bring forward the
completion of the western ring route, including its final link, the State
Highway 20 Waterview connection (formerly known as the Avondale extension).
Auckland City's Transport and Urban Linkages Committee will
review Transit's proposal at its November meeting. The council will then
consider the committee's recommendations to inform its submission to Transit
before consultation closes on 4 December.
