Auckland's CBD Into the Future

CBD Board

The CBD Board is an external advisory body with a special interest in the delivery and implementation of Auckland's CBD Into the future 10-year strategy.

It is comprised of 14 CBD stakeholders who represent groups, such as the CBD business associations, the council, Ngati Whatua o Orakei, CBD residents, educational bodies, city professionals, the hospitality industry and arts sector interests.

The board's specialist composition, up-to-date knowledge, experience and expertise means it is well placed to offer the council guidance on the revitalising of Auckland's CBD. Its role is to:

make recommendations on the delivery of the Auckland's CBD into the Future 10-year strategy
provide recommendations on the implementation of specific projects in the programme
provide input to the council on stakeholder views and any issues
assist in the delivery of the Auckland's CBD into the Future 10-year strategy communications.
