CBD Board
The CBD Board is an external advisory body with a special interest in the delivery
and implementation of Auckland's CBD Into the future 10-year strategy.
It is comprised of 14 CBD stakeholders who represent groups, such as the CBD
business associations, the council, Ngati Whatua o Orakei, CBD residents, educational
bodies, city professionals, the hospitality industry and arts sector interests.
The board's specialist composition, up-to-date knowledge, experience and expertise
means it is well placed to offer the council guidance on the revitalising of Auckland's
CBD. Its role is to:
- make recommendations on the delivery of the Auckland's CBD into the Future
10-year strategy
- provide recommendations on the implementation of specific projects in the
programme
- provide input to the council on stakeholder views and any issues
- assist in the delivery of the Auckland's CBD into the Future 10-year strategy
communications.
