Auckland City Council's Annual Plan 2007/2008
The next steps to take the city
forward to achieve its long-term vision are outlined in the
council's Annual Plan 2007/2008. The public was able to comment on
the Draft Annual Plan from 20 April to 21 May 2007.
The annual plan was finalised in July after public feedback had been
taken into account.
Annual Plan 2006/2007
Auckland City's Annual Plan 2006/2007 is replaced by the council's long-term council community plan (LTCCP) called
Auckland City's Long-term Plan 2006 - 2016.
This is the new 10-year planning document required by
the Local Government Act (2002).
Annual Plan 2005/2006
Auckland City Council
has published its Annual Plan 2005/2006. It is a summary of what the council wants to achieve over the next financial year and how much it will cost to achieve it.

Auckland City's Annual Plan 2005 is replaced by the council's first
long-term council community plan (LTCCP) called Focus
on the Future 2004-2014. Although Auckland City has produced long-term
plans before, this is the first of the new 10-year planning document required by
the Local Government Act (2002).

2004. It is a summary of what the council wants to achieve over the next financial year and how much it will cost to achieve it.

Auckland City's 2003 Annual Plan is incorporated within Focus
on the Future
Focus on the Future is a summary of Auckland City Council's plans
for Auckland. It contains:
- A review of the council's strategic plan, which sets the council's long-term goals and guides what it wants to achieve up until
2020.
- The council's long-term financial strategy, which explains why
the council is involved in a particular activity and sets out how much it
intends to spend on it over the next 10 years.
- The council's funding policy, which explains how a particular
service or activity will be paid for.
- The council's draft annual plan, which sets out what the council
is proposing to do over the next year and how much it will cost to do it.
