Make a submission
Submissions can now be made to a draft for a new bylaw or an amendment to an
existing bylaw. The
public notice in City Scene summarises the draft notice or amendment to an
existing bylaw and gives the closing date for submissions.
All submissions will be available to the public on request.

Submissions not using this form will
also be accepted. Your written submission should include
- Your name and address for correspondence.
- The date of submission.
- The bylaw name and number.
- The part/parts of the bylaw that you support/oppose.
- The reasons for your support/opposition of the bylaw.
- Whether you wish to be heard at the public council bylaw hearing.

Send your submission
Email submission conditions
You can now make your submission on a proposed bylaw or amendment to an
existing bylaw by emailing it as an attachment directly to bylaw@aucklandcity.govt.nz
Certain conditions apply as follows:
- only the email address above can be used. Bylaw submissions sent to other
email addresses in Auckland City Council will not be accepted
- the submission must be sent as an attachment, ie must not be included in
the body of the email
- the attachment must be an Adobe Acrobat document (PDF). Submissions
emailed in other formats will not be accepted
- an acknowledgment of your submission will sent by return email when the
submission is opened
- all submissions will be available to the public on request.
These conditions apply only to submissions to the Auckland City Consolidated
Bylaw.
