The strategy is one of council’s seven strategies that define how council’s resources will be used to achieve the vision for the city, as outlined in the Long-Term Council Community Plan.

The economic development strategy was developed through a collaborative approach engaging with business, community, councillors, staff from across council, central government and other key stakeholders. Council would like to thank all those who were involved.
