Explanatory notes

  1. This set of Planning Maps relates to the Hauraki Gulf Islands Section of the Auckland City District Plan.
  2. The Planning Maps show the location of activity zones and public works and other constraints on land development.
  3. North Point is vertical.
  4. The property boundaries shown on the Planning Maps are indicative only.

The planning maps for the Hauraki Gulf Islands are divided into maps for the Inner and Outer Islands and these are part of District Plan but are separated from the text. The Outer Island maps including Great Barrier Island are not available on the website, they can be viewed at the Great Barrier Island Service Centre, Claris, the Waiheke Service Centre, Ostend and City Planning, Level 11 Civic Building.
