Future work

These guidelines should have the following work developed to provide a total lighting package for Auckland City Council

  • an infrastructure design manual that covers the physical supply and installation for exterior lighting
  • ownership and control of all/part of Auckland City Council's lighting assets
  • strategic lighting plan/design to improve the night time image of Auckland city's prime features and assets. For example, the waterfront so that the land/water interface is enhanced.
