Update 2007/2008

This update is for the year July 2007 to June 2008. The report is produced in 2009, once all of the data is available.

As with previous years, the 2007/2008 update covers:

• the state of our natural and built environment, including air, biodiversity, climate, heritage, land cover and water
• the pressures on our natural environment, namely hazardous substances, contaminated land, waste, energy and transport
• a short summary of Auckland city's economic, social and cultural performance.

These chapters are the same as in previous years, helping us to track the areas where we are doing well, and areas where we can improve.
