Research indicates traffic congestion and parking are two of the main
problems encountered by people living and doing business in Auckland City.
Auckland City's Central Area Parking Policy aims to go some way towards
managing both congestion and parking problems, by encouraging greater use of
public transport by those who work in the city, while not discouraging visitors
for shopping, business or entertainment.
