Contents | Objectives | Background | Policy goals | Policy | Concessions | Management principles | Compliance and policy monitoring and review

This policy establishes Council’s position with regard to proposed encroachments and private use of parks, reserves and open space. It does not apply to commercial and community lease situations which are covered by Council’s existing Concessionary Lease Policy.

In the context of this document "public space" refers to all parks, reserves and open space lands owned or managed by Council.
