The survey findings identified key issues that businesses in the Rosebank area face. Significantly, these issues impact on the areas competitive advantages so it is of vital importance that these issues are managed effectively. The key issues are:

• Traffic congestion specifically along Rosebank Road especially during the morning and evening peak hour periods including before and after school traffic
• Transport safety in relation to access to and from business sites especially along the sites facing Rosebank Road
• Transport access to Rosebank from other locations in Auckland especially the North Shore and South Auckland including Auckland Airport for transporting goods, customers and suppliers
• The availability of industrial land is becoming scarce
• The cost of land is rising
• The recycling needs of especially larger businesses are not being met
