- That the officers be asked to scope a small
local improvement project (SLIPs) to level part of Patteson Reserve to improve
the amenity for local neighbourhood recreation, noting that
- the project would be funded out of the
operational expenditure SLIPs budget for 2010/2011, and
- there is a current SLIPs project to install
bollards to prevent vandalism on the Reserve.

Bridge) off Tamaki Drive at the western end of Mission Bay beach and Selwyn
Reserve, including the western car park through to the eastern end of the
eastern car park, excluding licensed areas
- Tamaki Drive from the entrance to the western car park through to
Selwyn Avenue (excluding dedicated areas on the southern footpath immediately in
front of the shops and restaurants where special licences have been approved)
- Atkin Avenue from Tamaki Drive to Marau Crescent

- the implementation of a road closure, approved by the Group Manager

on Saturday, 27 February 2010, or on the rain date as agreed with officers,
subject to the following conditions:
- that public access be restricted to Selwyn
Reserve and Mission Bay beach from 4pm to 11pm
- that the costs of reinstatement of the
reserve be met by the organiser of the Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest
- that reasonable access be provided for
members of the public with physical disabilities.
