EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS

That an item of
extraordinary business regarding the distribution and advertising process for
the history of Mt Roskill book entitled Not just passing through, the making of
Mt Roskill be considered as extraordinary business at agenda item 16 for the
reason that the book has been printed and launched, and decisions are required
to be made regarding distribution and advertising before the next community
board meeting to be held on 21 August 2007.

DEMOLITION OF UNUSED BUILDING ON FEARON
PARK

deferred to the 21 August 2007 Mt Roskill Community Board meeting to allow
further information to be obtained, and that an officer be in attendance at the
August meeting in order to answer any questions the Board may have.

MONTE CECILIA PARK MASTER PLAN

- That the final master plan for Monte Cecilia Park be endorsed and
recommended for approval by the Arts Culture and Recreation Committee.
- That the Board endorse a cultural demand study to develop the concept
of a visual arts centre and café/ restaurant component in Pah homestead to be
commenced in 2007 in general accordance with the outline brief, subject to
funding approval.
- That an accelerated programme for homestead restoration within a 3
year timeframe be endorsed, subject to delegated approval for bringing LTCCP
funding forward and obtaining relevant consents.
- That the proposed staged priorities for park planning, design and
development be endorsed for the first 3 years commencing 2007/ 08 financial
year.
- That the Chair of the Mt Roskill Community Board write a letter to
Helen Kerr thanking her for all her efforts with this project.
