turf is a joint asset between Mt Roskill Grammar School and Auckland City
Council.

ZERO TOLERANCE GRAFFITI PROGRAMME
Rob Shields showed a DVD entitled "Zero Tolerance from
Eradication to Prevention" explaining Council's Zero Tolerance Graffiti
Programme. Discussion ensued regarding volunteer programme, best surface to use
to discourage graffiti, above 3 metre (veranda) and what can be done,
communicating councils policy to the public, turnaround time for removal (24
hours for non problem areas), effectiveness of murals, utility boxes, trends,
gang tagging, hip hop culture, etching into glass.
