    4.1. QUARRY AFFAIRS - THREE KINGS UNITED GROUP INC

    Dianne Hill and Austen Bell tabled a paper entitled 'A Presentation by Three Kings United Group Inc' and spoke to it.

  5. Top PRESENTATION BY NZ TRANSPORT AGENCY ON STATE HIGHWAY 20 WATERVIEW CONNECTION

    Wayne McDonald and Carol Greensmith showed a presentation regarding the State Highway 20 Waterview Connection and spoke to it. They also tabled the May 2009 information pack and comment form.

  6. Top SLIPS PROGRAMME REPORT

    1. That the memorandum of the SLIPs Programme Leader, dated 11 May 2009 be received.
    2. That the Mt Roskill Community Board notes the 2008/2009 opex budget has been fully allocated.
    3. That the Mt Roskill Community Board notes the 2009/2010 opex budget is in deficit of $4,440.00

  7. Top SLIPS DECISION REPORT MAY 2009

    1. That the report of the SLIPS Project Portfolio Leader dated 12 May 2009 be received.
    2. That the Mt Roskill Community Board approves the Molly Green Landscape Modifications and allocates Board member Turnbull as spokesperson.
    3. That the Mt Roskill Community Board delegates authority to Board member Turnbull to provide guidance and advice to the SLIPs team regarding the Molly Green Landscape Modifications and delegates authority to Board member Turnbull and Chairperson Barter to be exercised together, to make additional funding decisions where a variation to the Molly Green Landscape Modifications project scope is needed due to unforeseen circumstances.
    4. That the Mt Roskill Community Board delegates capex funding as follows:
      • $25,220.00 to option 2 of the Waikowhai Park Barbeque project
      • $25,647.00 to the Three Kings Basketball Hoop project
      • $34,149.00 to the Turner Reserve Bollards project
    5. That the Mt Roskill Community Board prioritises the opex projects funding in the 2009/2010 financial year as follows:
      1. Manukau Foreshore Community Pest Programme Continuation State 2
      2. Wesley Primary School Hall Floor Upgrade
      3. Mt Roskill/Waikowhai/Wesley Tree Planting Survey Phase 2
      4. Manukau Foreshore Pine Removals Stage 6
      5. Dominion & Mt Albert Road Shopping Strip concept plan
      6. Dominion & Richardson Road Shopping Strip concept plan
      7. Owairaka Shops concept plan
      8. Taylors Bay Aquatic Structure scoping

  13. Top COUNCILLORS' REPORTS

    That the verbal report from Councillor Mulholland regarding the following be received:

    • The Auckland City District Plan: Hauraki Gulf Islands Section - Proposed is now open for the lodgement of appeals in the Environment Court.
    • The Future Planning Framework community feedback period has ended.
    • The City Development Committee has agree to the development of three precinct plans rather than drafting or notifying a draft isthmus district plan.
    • The Community Assistance Grants period is coming up in two weeks.
    • Wesley Youth Centre update.

    That the verbal report from Councillor Lister regarding the following be received:

    • The completion of the Mt Roskill cone - Puketapapa cycleway will be considered at the Transport Committee in June.
    • Commended the diligence and hard work of the council's Civil Defence Emergency Management staff. .
    • Attended the 2009 ANZAC Day celebrations which went off superbly.
    • Attended the opening of Mt Roskill section of State Highway 20
    • Inorganic collection in Mt Roskill - disappointment at large amounts of rubbish on the streets.
