  1. Top 2009/ 2010 DISCRETIONARY FUNDING APPLICATIONS

    Attaching the recommendation from the sub-committee on the allocation of discretionary funding applications.

    18.1. UPSIDE DOWN EDUCATION TRUST

    Attaching a discretionary funding application from the Upside Down Education Trust. The organisation is applying for funding towards the operational costs of sending children with Down syndrome to specialist education programs.

    Recommending that the Board considers the application.

    18.2. ELDERLY WELL-BEING CENTRE TRUST

    Attaching a discretionary funding application from the Elderly Well-Being Centre Trust. The organisation is applying for funding towards the operational costs of a competitive musical event for elderly Koreans.

    18.3. PANMURE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

    Attaching a discretionary funding application from the Panmure Business Association. The organisation is applying for funding towards the operational costs of the Panmure Community Christmas Parade and Festival.

    18.5. NEW ZEALAND SIKH WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION

    Attaching a discretionary funding application from the New Zealand Sikh Women's Association. The organisation is applying for funding towards the operational costs of an awards ceremony for its volunteers.

    18.6. THE GLEN INNES CHINESE FRIENDSHIP GROUP TRUST

    Attaching a discretionary funding application from The Glen Innes Chinese Friendship Group Trust. The organisation is applying for funding towards the operational costs associated with Chinese National Day celebration events planned by the trust.
