- That the Board authorises the Chairperson and
Cr Moyle to liaise with Watersafe to achieve a satisfactory outcome that allows

the Board's 2009-2010 discretionary funding budget subject to a satisfactory
outcome being achieved with respect to resolution B above.
- That St Pauls College be requested to provide
an accountability statement to the Western Bays Community Board following the
expenditure of any discretionary funding granted.

the application from Fuse PR Limited to restrict public access and charge an
entry fee to Western Springs Quarry for the two-hour Aveeno Inspired Pilates
event in April 2010, pending the organiser obtaining and an event permit from
Auckland City Council.

the Department of Conservation.

recommends to the Arts, Culture and Recreation Committee:
- The granting of the council's
approval, to the Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club Inc. for the club to use the
council land adjacent to the club's current courts situated at 10 West End Road,
Bayfield Park Herne Bay for the development of an additional court on the
following terms and conditions:

The club must secure funding and have finance in place for development of the
land prior to formal approval being issued by the council in its capacity as
land owner
-
There are to be no lights on the additional court
-
Coaching sessions are not to start earlier than 7am
-
Any default under the club's current loan agreement with the council will
constitute a default under their lease agreement
- The granting of a variation to the Herne Bay
Ponsonby Rackets Club's reserve lease agreement with the council to increase
their lease boundary area to include the additional land for the new court once
development of additional court complete.
- That the Board supports a potential SLIPs
project for a walkway/footpath outside the new tennis courts.
