   That the apologies from Councillor Moyle, Board members Sang and Ellis for non-attendance, be received.

2. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

   That the minutes of the Art Gallery Board meeting held on Thursday, 19 February 2009 be confirmed as a true and correct record.

   CARRIED

3. EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS

   There was no extraordinary business.

4. PUBLIC FORUM

   There were no requests to speak in public forum.

5. AUCKLAND ART GALLERY TOI O TĀMAKI REPORT FOR JANUARY - MARCH 2009

   The Director Art Gallery briefed the Board on the development progress on the Auckland Art Gallery. Officers also provided updates on activities undertaken from January until March 2009.

   That the report entitled Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki for January - March 2009 of the Director Auckland Art Gallery, be received.

   CARRIED

6. AUCKLAND ART GALLERY TOI O TĀMAKI FINANCIAL REPORT TO 28 FEBRUARY 2009

   That the report entitled Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki Financial report to 28 February 2009 of the Manager Business Support, be received.

   CARRIED

7. BOARD MEMBER'S REPORT

   Board member Reihana spoke to the Board regarding her proposed works entitled 'Te Ara a Hine' for the Te Papa museum in Wellington.

   There being no further business the Chairperson declared the meeting closed at 11:00 am.
