MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE TRANSPORT RESOLUTIONS SUBCOMMITTEE

  2. Top CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

    That the minutes of the Transport Resolutions Subcommittee meeting held on Friday, 31 October be confirmed as a true and correct record noting that the resolutions pertaining to item 4 entitled, Ponsonby Road (Hepburn Road to Karangahape Road), Ponsonby, Western Bays ward bus lane and parking restrictions, are incorrect and that they are related to another report and had been submitted mistakenly under item 4. That item is resubmitted in the agenda of the 28 November 2008 Transport Resolutions Sub-Committee meeting under item 19.

    The following item was introduced by the sub-committee:

    • Tyler Street, Auckland Central;
    • Temporary parking and parking restriction changes outlines roads below - Auckland Centre/ Hobson ward - Vector Arena - December 2008 Fixtures Only

    The reason for urgency being that the works planned in this report are commencing prior to the next sub-committee meeting and is considered as items 18 and 21 of the agenda.

  4. Top TEMPORARY TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTION CHANGES - MAIN HIGHWAY, ELLERSLIE - TAMAKI WARD ELLERSLIE SANTA PARADE 2008

    1. That pursuant to clause 25.8 of the Auckland City Consolidated Bylaw 1998, Part 25 Traffic 2006 (as amended) and the Land Transport Rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004, the stopping of any vehicles on the road or part of the road described in this resolution is restricted to the corresponding authorised vehicle so described and will be evidenced by the appropriate signs.

    Main Highway, Ellerslie - both kerb lines from approximately 6.0m from the western kerb line of Cawley Street, extending west to the western kerb line of Robert Street.

      1. the road or part of road described in this resolution is specified as the location of a special vehicle lane at all times;
      2. the use of the special vehicle lane specified in this resolution is restricted to cycles only;
      3. the special vehicle lanes described in this resolution will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.
