    That the minutes of the Transport Resolutions Sub-committee meeting held on Friday, 31 July 2009 be confirmed as a true and correct record, be amended as follows:

    Change of title of the Group Manager Transport Safety Asset and Operation to Group manager Transport Assets.

    The following items were introduced by the sub-committee and are considered as items 19 and 20:

    1. Temporary Traffic and parking Restriction Changes Sandringham Road, Kingsland and Surrounding Streets Eden/ Albert Ward
    2. Temporary Traffic and Parking Restriction Changes Shortland Street, O'Connell Street, Victoria Street West - Auckland Central - Hobson Ward

    The reason for urgency being that the works planned in these reports are commencing prior to the next sub-committee meeting.

  4. Top AIREDALE STREET, AUCKLAND CENTRAL - HOBSON WARD - PARKING RESTRICTIONS - RESOLUTION ID - 8700

    1. That pursuant to clause 25.8 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004, the stopping of any vehicle on the road or part of road described in this resolution is prohibited and will be evidenced by the appropriate road markings.

      Airedale Street, east side, from the extended line of the southern kerb line of Lyndock Street and extending south for a distance of 26.5 metres ( Refer to the area marked 'A1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

      Airedale Street, east side, from a point 104.0 metres south of the extended line of the southern kerb line of Lyndock Street and extending south for a distance of 15.5 metres ( Refer to the area marked 'A2' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

      1. the parking place, part or portion of a road described in this resolution is declared to be a pay and display area between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday;
      2. the fees payable for the parking of a vehicle in each such pay and display area at all relevant times are prescribed to be - four dollars per hour ;
      3. the payment procedure for the parking of a vehicle in each such pay and display area is declared to be - payment utilising coinage, credit card or cellular phone;
      4. the maximum time allowed for the parking of a vehicle in such pay and display area on one occasion is declared to be 60 minutes;
      5. appropriate parking meters will be placed, the location of pay and display areas will be indicated by painted lines and the appropriate signs erected.

    3. That pursuant to clause 25.13 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004,
      1. the piece of land, length of road or building described in this resolution is specified to be a parking place;
      2. at all times, only motorcycles are entitled to use the parking place described in this resolution;
      3. at all other times, any vehicle is entitled to use the parking place described in this resolution unless otherwise specified;
      4. the conditions subject to the parking place will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.

      Airedale Street, east side, from a point 38.5 metres north of the extended line of the northern kerb line of Lyndock Street and extending north for a distance of 4.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'C1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

    4. That pursuant to clause 25.13 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006,
      1. the piece of land, length of road or building described in this resolution is specified to be a parking place;
      2. parking spaces are reserved in the parking place specified in this resolution for the exclusive use of vehicles driven by or carrying disabled persons and displaying an operation mobility card or permit;
      3. parking spaces are reserved at all times;
      4. the maximum time allowed for the parking of a vehicle displaying an operation mobility card or permit is defined as 180 minutes;
      5. each reserved parking space described in this resolution will be indicated by appropriate signs and road markings.

      Airedale Street, west side, from a point 168.5 metres north of the extended line of the northern kerb line of Symonds Street and extending north for a distance of 11.5 metres (Refer to the area marked 'D1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

    5. That pursuant to clause 25.9 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport rule 54002: Traffic control Devices 2004,
      1. the part of road described in this resolution is determined to be a loading zone between the hours of 8am to 6pm / Monday to Saturday;
      2. the stopping, standing or parking of goods service vehicles in the loading zones determined in this resolution is restricted to a maximum time of five minutes;
      3. the loading zone restriction will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.

      Airedale Street, west side, from a point 180.0 metres north of the extended line of the northern kerb line of Symonds Street and extending north for a distance of 6.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'E1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

    6. That pursuant to clause 25.14 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004,
      1. the parts of the road described in this resolution are reserved for the exclusive parking of specified motor vehicles owned by residents of the surrounding area and displaying a valid Residents Only Permit issued in respect of such a vehicle 'residents permit holders only parking area'
      2. the operation of the 'residents permit holders only parking area' identified in this resolution is limited to the hours of 6pm to 8am / Monday to Sunday;
      3. the fee for the use of the 'residents permit holders only parking area' identified in this resolution is 150 dollars per year;
      4. a valid permit is required to be held for the use of the 'residents permit holders only parking area' identified in this resolution;
      5. the 'residents permit holders only parking area' identified in this resolution will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings

      Airedale Street, west side, from a point 214.5 metres north of the extended line of the northern kerb line of Symonds Street and extending north for a distance of 5.5 metres (Refer to the area marked 'F1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-255)

    7. That all previous resolutions of Auckland City Council pertaining to stopping, loading, or parking of vehicles, special vehicle lanes and cycle paths, made pursuant to any Auckland City Council Bylaws, in the areas described in this resolution are revoked.
    8. That this resolution will take effect when the traffic control devices that evidence the restrictions described in this resolution are in place.

  5. Top BRADFORD STREET, PARNELL - HOBSON WARD - PARKING RESTRICTIONS - RESOLUTION ID - 8720

    1. That pursuant to clause 25.8 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004, the stopping of any vehicle on the road or part of road described in this resolution is prohibited and will be evidenced by the appropriate road markings.

      Bradford Street, east side, from the extended line of the southern kerb line of Windsor Street and extending south for a distance of 88.5 metres to the northern kerb line of Ruskin Street (Refer to the area marked 'A1' in the attached drawing #dps-2009-249)

      Bradford Street, west side, from the extended line of the northern kerb line of Ruskin Street and extending north for a distance of 6.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'A2' in the attached drawing #dps-2009-249)

    2. That pursuant to clause 25.14 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004,
      1. the parts of the road described in this resolution are reserved for the exclusive parking of specified motor vehicles owned by residents of the surrounding area and displaying a valid Residents Only Permit issued in respect of such a vehicle 'residents permit holders only parking area'

      2. the times for the parking of any vehicle on the parking place specified in this resolution are defined as a maximum time of 120 minutes between the hours of 8am to 6pm / Monday to Friday;
      3. the part of road described in this resolution is identified as being able to be used by specified vehicles owned by eligible residents of the surrounding area and displaying a valid Residents Exemption Permit issued in respect of such a vehicle ('resident's exemption parking area');
      4. the operation of the 'residents exemption parking area' identified in this resolution is limited to the operating days and / or times so described;
      5. the controls described in this resolution will be evidenced by the appropriate signs.

      Bradford Street, west side, from a point 25.0 metres north of the extended line of the northern kerb line of Ruskin Street and extending north for a distance of 15.5 metres (Refer to the area marked 'C1' in the attached drawing #dps-2009-249)

    4. That all previous resolutions of Auckland City Council pertaining to stopping, loading, or parking of vehicles, special vehicle lanes and cycle paths, made pursuant to any Auckland City Council Bylaws, in the areas described in this resolution are revoked.
    5. That this resolution will take effect when the traffic control devices that evidence the restrictions described in this resolution are in place.

      2. only police vehicles are entitled to use the parking place described in this resolution at all times;
      3. the conditions subject to the parking place will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.

      Fort Street, north side, from a point 85.5 metres east of the extended line of the eastern kerb line of Queen Street and extending east for a distance of 10.5 metres (Refer to the area marked 'F1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-250)

    8. That pursuant to clause 25.13 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004,
      1. the piece of land, length of road or building described in this resolution is specified to be a taxi stand [being a type of transport station;
      2. at all times, only taxis are entitled to use the taxi stand described in this resolution a;
      3. at all other times, any vehicle is entitled to use the parking place described in this resolution unless otherwise specified;
      4. the conditions subject to the parking place will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.

      Fort Street, south side, from a point 10.5 metres east of the extended line of the eastern kerb line of Queen Street and extending east for a distance of 18.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'G1' in the attached drawing dps-2009-250)

    9. That pursuant to clause 25.9 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport rule 54002: Traffic control Devices 2004,
      1. the part of road described in this resolution is determined to be a loading zone between the hours of 8am to 6pm / Monday to Sunday and Public Holidays;
      2. (ii the stopping, standing or parking of goods service vehicles in the loading zones determined in this resolution is restricted to a maximum time of five minutes;
      3. the loading zone restriction will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.

    1. That pursuant to clause 25.8 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004, the stopping of any vehicle on the road or part of road described in this resolution is prohibited and will be evidenced by the appropriate road markings.

    2. That pursuant to clause 25.8 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006 and the Land Transport Rule 54002: Traffic Control Devices 2004, the stopping of vehicles on the road or part of the road described in this resolution is restricted to the corresponding authorised vehicle so described and will be evidenced by the appropriate signs.

    3. That pursuant to clause 25.13 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006,
      1. the piece of land, length of road or building described in this resolution is specified to be a parking place;
      2. the manner of parking of any vehicle on the parking place specified in this resolution is defined as parking only at an angle to the direction of roadway.

      Mahuru Street, east side, from a point 106.5 metres north of extended line of the northern kerb line of St Marks Road and extending north for a distance of 55.5 metres (refer to area marked 'C1' in attached drawing dps-2009-227)

    4. That all previous resolutions of Auckland City Council pertaining to stopping, loading, or parking of vehicles, special vehicle lanes and cycle paths, made pursuant to any Auckland City Council Bylaws, in the areas described in this resolution are revoked.
    5. That this resolution will take effect when the traffic control devices that evidence the restrictions described in this resolution are in place.

      Provost Street, west side, from the extended line of the southern kerb line of Jervois Road and extending south for a distance of 35.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'A1' in the attached drawing #dps-2009-271).

      Provost Street, east side, from the extended line of the southern kerb line of Jervois Road and extending south for a distance of 35.0 metres (Refer to the area marked 'A2' in the attached drawing #dps-2009-271).

    2. That pursuant to clauses 25.13 and 25.14 of the Auckland City Council Traffic Bylaw 2006,
      1. the piece of land, length of road or building described in this resolution is specified to be a parking place;

    4. That this resolution will take effect when the traffic control devices that evidence the restrictions described in this resolution are in place.

      2. the stopping, standing or parking of authorised construction vehicles only in the goods service vehicle loading zones determined in this resolution is unrestricted to any maximum time;
      3. the loading zone restriction will be evidenced by the appropriate signs and markings.
