    That the minutes of the Auckland City Youth Council meeting held on Monday, 16 June 2008, be confirmed as a true and correct record.

    That the verbal reports from Hobson Community Board Chairperson Desley Simpson and Maungakiekie Community Board Member Simon Randall be received and that they be thanked for their presentations.

  6. Top WALKING AND ROAD SAFETY PROJECT

    Moved: Beanland / Tamaseu-Russell

    1. That Melanie Turner, Road Safety Coordinator - Cycling and Walking, be thanked for her attendance.
    2. That the Youth Council establish a project team consisting of members Kate Boersen, Rebecca Kennedy and Victor Li to provide project ideas on pedestrian road safety in Auckland city.

  7. Top PROGRAMME ADVISOR - YOUTH REPORT

    That the memorandum dated July 2008 from the Programme Advisor - Youth be received.

  8. Top YOUTH COUNCIL WEBSITE

    That the Youth Council establish a project team consisting of members Kate Boersen, Dexter Henderson and Alice Wang to provide comment on proposed content for a future Youth Council website.

  9. Top INCREASING REPRESENTATION ON YOUTH COUNCIL

    That the Youth Council recognises it is underrepresented amongst Council's wards and resolves to increase its representation by:

    • Contacting Community Board Chairs and Board Members
    • Finding out which Community Board Wards Youth Council members reside in
