1. APOLOGIES

   There were no apologies.

2. ELEPHANT PRECINCT AT AUCKLAND ZOO

   1. That the Proposed Budget Changes Ten Year Plan 2009 - 2019 report of Grant Smith, Corporate planning manager, to the Combined Committees meeting of 18 June 2009, be received.
   2. That it be a recommendation to 18 June 2009, Combined Committees meeting:
   3. That an allowance of $65,000 be made to progress the import health standards.
   4. That it be noted that there may be a requirement for Council to fund up-front work to assist fundraising and source new elephants. This would then be repaid from fundraising.

   CARRIED

   There being no further business the Chairperson declared the meeting closed at 11.25 am.
