MINUTES OF A JOINT MEETING OF THE ARTS, CULTURE AND RECREATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS COMMITTEES

1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR THIS MEETING

   The General Manager, Arts Community and Recreation opened the meeting and put the following recommendation to the committees in the absence of a chair.

   That Councillor Northey be appointed as Chairperson.

   CARRIED

2. APOLOGIES

   That the apologies received from Councillors Fryer and Storer (both absent on Council business) and Councillor Leighton for lateness be accepted.

   CARRIED

3. EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS

   There was no extraordinary business.

4. PUBLIC FORUM

   There were no requests to speak in public forum.

5. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC : LOCAL GOVERNMENT
   OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND MEETINGS ACT 1987

   That the public be excluded from the following part(s) of the proceedings of this meeting.

   The general subject of each matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter, and the specific grounds under Section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution are as follows:
