EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS
That an item of extraordinary business regarding the appointment of an
independent commissioner to the hearings panel for the Hauraki Gulf Islands

August meeting of the Environment, Heritage and Urban Form Committee.

undertaken on the transport modes of a light weight electric vehicle, which can
be used to move people from the visitor centre to the summit, be recommended,
the committee noting that while the options of cable or monorail or a
personalised transport system are still canvassed in the public consultation,
these are not modes that the committee favours.
