1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR THIS MEETING

   Moved: Casey/Walsh

   That Councillor Caughey be elected as Chairperson.

   CARRIED

2. APOLOGIES

   That apologies from His Worship the Mayor, Deputy Mayor Hucker and from Councillors Fryer, Leighton, Millar, Northey, Raffills, Sefuiva, Simpson and Storer for non-attendance be accepted.

   CARRIED

3. EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS

   There was no extraordinary business.

4. PUBLIC FORUM

   There were no requests to speak in public forum.

5. 'OUR COLLECTIVE TAONGA: PLACES FOR PEOPLE, PLACES FOR NATURE' OPEN SPACE FRAMEWORK

   1. That the Environment, Heritage and Urban Form Committee and the Arts, Culture and Recreation Committee endorse council's Open Space Framework 'Our Collective Taonga: Places for People, Places for Nature', attached as Appendix C, including amendments.
   2. That final approval of council's Open Space Framework 'Our Collective Taonga: Places for People, Places for Nature', attached as Appendix C, including amendments, be delegated to the chairpersons of the Environment, Heritage and Urban Form and the Arts, Culture and Recreation Committees.

   CARRIED

   There being no further business the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 10:32 am.
