  2. Top CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

    That the minutes of the Partnerships Committee meeting held on Tuesday, 14 August 2007 be confirmed as a true and correct record.

    There was no extraordinary business.

  4. Top PUBLIC FORUM

    There were no requests to speak in public forum.

  5. Top REPORTS REQUESTED/PENDING

    That the report from the Democracy Advisor, dated 3 September 2007, outlining reports requested/pending  be received.

  6. Top UPDATE REPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS DIVISION

    Councillor Northey gave a verbal update on the Asia Pacific Cities Summit held in Brisbane from 30 August to 3 September 2007. A paper was tabled entitled "Asia Pacific Cities  Summit - 2007, Renewing Asia Pacific Cities", that was signed at Government House, Brisbane, by delegates at the Conference.

    That the report of the International Affairs Manager, dated 7 September 2007, be received.

    Secretarial Note:

    The Manager, Community Development, and the Community Engagement Manager, Arts Community and Recreation Services, gave a verbal updates on the projects undertaken by their team during this term of Council.

    Prior to closing the meeting, the Chairperson thanked the International Affairs division, Economic Development, for their high quality work. The Chairperson also thanked the Arts Community and Recreation Services group officers for their excellent work.

    There being no further business the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 2.55pm.
