  2. Top CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

    That the minutes of the Rangihoua and Tawaipareira Reserve Management Sub-Committee meeting held on Tuesday, 11 July 2006, be confirmed as a true and correct record.

  3. Top EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS

    There was no extraordinary business.

  4. Top PUBLIC FORUM

    There were no requests to speak in public forum.

  5. Top RANGIHOUA MAUNGA MANAGEMENT AREA

    1. That the sub-committee adopt the area as generally defined in Attachment A to the report of the Senior Open Space Planner, dated 5 December 2006 as the Rangihoua Maunga Management Area to be confirmed by survey.
    2. That the sub-committee be consulted on policy issues and operational activities within the landscape amenity and conservation areas surrounding the Maunga.
    3. That the sub-committee supports the Auckland City submission to the Proposed Hauraki Gulf islands District Plan seeking changes to Part 10a.24 Rangihoua Park to modify the extent of Area C, Rangihoua Maunga in accordance with Attachment A.
    4. That the sub-committee confirms its support for working together to care for Rangihoua and Tawaipareira and recognises the importance of Mana and Whakamana in that process.

    CARRIED

    There being no further business the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 1:40pm.
