7. PRESENTATION TO COMMITTEE

   That the presentation of the Group Manager Utility Planning regarding to the activities and functions of Utility Planning, Implementation Planning, and City Planning Groups as they relate to the Fields of Activity of the Works and Services Committee be received.

8. 2004/2005 FIRST QUARTER: UTILITY PLANNING REPORT

   That the report of the Manager Utility Planning dated 15 November 2004 appraising the Committee on the areas of activity of the Utility Planning Group be received.

9. PRIVATE WATERCOURSE ASSISTANCE

   That a private watercourse assistance grant of 43.3% of works estimated to cost $10,000 for 2/42a Mahoe Avenue, Remuera be approved.

   CARRIED

10. QUARTERLY UPDATE – WASTE PROJECTS FROM CITY PLANNING

    That the report of the Team Leader Environmental Projects dated 23 November 2004 on the quarterly update on Waste Projects from City Planning Group be received.

11. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC: LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND MEETINGS ACT 1987

    That the public be excluded from the following part of the proceedings of this meeting.
