That the minutes of the Auckland City Youth Council meeting held on
Monday, 17 October 2005 be confirmed as a true and correct record.

EXTRAORDINARY BUSINESS
There was no extraordinary business.
PUBLIC FORUM
Natalie Morgan addressed the Youth Council regarding a proposed Youth Expo
being held in May 2007. Natalie invited the Youth Council's involvement, perhaps
as a presenter. Information regarding the project was included in the 17 October
agenda is attached. Members were encouraged to visit the ANEW NZ website (www.anewnz.org.nz)
for more information.

4.1 PROPOSED YOUTH EXPO 2007 NATALIE MORGAN

That Natalie Morgan be thanked for her presentation regarding proposed
Youth Expo in 2007.

CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
The Chairman tabled a report giving an overview of the matters he had been
involved with since the last meeting.

MEMBERS' UPDATES
Further members' updates were received.
Jayran Mansouri and Aritra Ray tabled a copy of their respective updates.

Sam Beanland asked that members ensure their reports are completed in time to
make the agenda close off.
Further verbal updates were received from:
Melanie Cripps she has attended the December converse interact meeting. 14
young people attended. A pool party is to be organised highlighting that alcohol
and drugs are not required to have fun. Watch this space for more details.
Melanie continued:
- Melanie has been assisting the organisation at the Auckland Baptist
Tabernacle Christmas Extravaganza event. There will be:
- Displays from 20-23 December, 10am - 3pm and 6.30pm - 8pm
- Daystar Art competition Lion witch and the Wardrobe, Stars and
Light discovery centre from 20-23 December, 10am - 3pm and 6.30pm - 8pm.
- Christmas Musical from 20-22 December, 7pm
- Christmas eve 3 services 7pm, 9pm and 11pm.
Melanie invited anyone interested to attend.
Aritra Ray found his trip to Wellington to be very informative and
enjoyable.
Dawn Talisa has been participating in the choir which will be performing in
the Town Hall.

COMMUNITY ADVISOR'S UPDATE
The Community Advisor tabled an e-mail regarding the Voice of Ethnic Youth
Forum thanking those Youth Council members who made themselves available to
attend.
