    Bev Chamberlain, Project manager AKActive, and Kathryn Doughty, AKActive Youth Community Facilitator, addressed the Auckland City Youth Council on the 'AKActive Youth Programme' being conducted during the upcoming school holidays. Kathryn advised the Auckland City Youth Council with the YMCA website address that outlines the programme, http://www.nzymca.com/akactive/, for their information.

    4.2 PANSY WONG - MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT

    Pansy Wong, Member of Parliament, addressed the Auckland City Youth Council on issues concerning new migrants to the Auckland area. Pansy asked Auckland City Youth Council members for their opinions concerning the use of 'ethnic labels' often associated with new migrants, and the need for more language options within the New Zealand schools curriculum.

    1. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council of the upcoming Executive Team meeting.

    8.9 Andrew Harland Smith

    1. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council that he is studying for exams;
    2. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council that he will be attending an Outward Bound camp during the summer of 2007/2008;
    3. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council that he may be going on an exchange trip to Spain in 2008.

    8.10 Harriet Spratt

    1. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council that she will be attending the Trampolining Regional finals;
    2. Advised the Auckland City Youth Council of an event that she has helped organise, 'EXO Day', as part of a initiative at her school
