Area of interest on
the CBD board
Successful cities provide a concentration of
specialist business advisory expertise. Judicious use of legal and other
networks provides New Zealand's businesses with access to the benefits of the
best and most innovative thinking in relevant areas. New technologies and smart
leverage of intellectual property are key areas where New Zealand can overcome
the 'tyranny of distance' and compete successfully.
Why I'm passionate
about Auckland's CBD
When other more lucrative options were available, I
chose to return to Auckland to live and work. It is without peer as a place to
live and raise a family. The CBD is critical to Auckland's success and New
Zealand's international competitiveness. For me personally, the CBD provides New
Zealand's best opportunities to do high level commercial IP (intellectual
property) work. Auckland also demonstrates characteristics of a brand and asset
capable of delivering far greater benefits for New Zealand as a whole.
