as a descendant of Ngati Whatua o Orakei, the kaitiaki of Tamaki, we endeavour to provide an inviting, enjoyable and safe environment to live in and visit
as a member of the Ngati Whatua o Orakei Maori Trust Board I am responsible for conveying and relaying the interests of the board from and to the whanau I am accountable to.

Why I'm passionate about Auckland's CBD

My passion comes from an historical link dating back to 1840 when Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) was gifted to Governor Hobson by Apihai TeKawau. With hard work and collaboration Ngati Whatua o Orakei and Auckland City Council have succeeded in and continue to realise Apihai TeKawau's vision of partnership.
