Mt Roskill skate park A new skate park incorporating skating features and an additional half basketball court to provide for a multi-sport, street-like environment. 2007
Kupe North reserve Upgrade involving the relocation of the playground, planting, constructing a new deck and footpaths. 2006
Garnet Road streetscape upgrade The streetscape was upgraded at the same time as the footpaths. 2006
Karangahape Road streetscape upgrade Project to improve the physical environment and enhance the unique character of Karangahape Road, making it a better place for people to shop and spend time. 2006
Blockhouse Bay Mainstreet project Stage three of the upgrade including a stylised wave pattern on the footpath surface, plant areas with incorporated seating and two metal sail structures on either side of the road welcoming people to the Blockhouse Bay shops. 2006
Grey Lynn Park recreation precinct plan Auckland City and the Western Bays Community Board are looking at the future enhancement and development of Grey Lynn Park as a 'recreation precinct'. Stages one and two are complete, and future implementation will be staged over the next ten years or so. 2006

Auckland Netball Centre The new netball complex at Ngahue Reserve Mt Wellington is part of New Zealand's biggest urban renewal project at Tamaki Edge. 2006
Western Park performance space Auckland City Council has constructed a small informal outdoor performance space for Western Park. 2006
Kingsland transport improvements Auckland City Council built a pedestrian plaza at the Kingsland rail station off Edendale Road, and changes were made to on-street parking in Kingsland. 2006
Seaside Park landfill rehabilitation Seaside Park is located on a closed landfill at Brady Rd, Otahuhu on the banks of the Tamaki River. The purpose of the closed landfill rehabilitation works was to improve health, safety and environmental conditions at Seaside Park and to create significant positive environmental benefits and enhance amenity value. 2005
Remuera Mainstreets upgrade The $920,000 upgrade of the suburb's town centre has been designed to create a unique identity for Remuera and to characterise the area as the 'Gateway to Remuera'. 2005
Kohimarama Beach esplanade reserve redevelopment The redevelopment was to protect the natural environment from pedestrian damage and enhance the area. 2005
Pedestrian orientation signage network - CBD A pedestrian focused signage system has been developed to provide a sense of familiarity and orientation for both local users and visitors to the CBD. 2004
Edenvale Reserve In 2003, the southern third of Edenvale Reserve was closed while Auckland City Council capped contaminated soil with plastic matting and 100 millimetres of clean topsoil. 2004
Basque Park Basque Park - Newton's most important open space - has been landscape designed with the help of the local community. 2004
Kohimarama Beach seawall protection This project returned Kohimarama Beach to its pristine. The beach now features an 800m strip of sand 5m to 15m in width at high tide. 2004
Mt Albert War Memorial Reserve Development of a recreation precinct at Mt Albert War Memorial Reserve (751-773 New North Road, Mt Albert). 2004
Sandringham shopping centre upgrade The major revamp of Sandringham village saw all overhead lines put underground, and the installation of new footpaths, seating, bins, signs and streetlights. 2004
Sentinel Beach reserve upgrade These works were part of the larger Herne Bay beach reserve upgrade project which sought to enhance the nine beach reserves. 2004
Western Springs Stadium construction works New cables were installed to replace damaged ones throughout Western Springs Stadium. 2004
Ballantyne Square redevelopment Implementation of a landscape development plan to improve the use to the public as a neighbourhood park. 2003
Blockhouse Bay Mainstreet project Four columns with perforated aluminium sails erected up the eastern side of Blockhouse Bay Road, surrounded at ground level by seating and paving. 2003
Newmarket Park development The first stage of implementation included upgraded drainage systems, resurfacing of the carpark area, installation of new seating and bins, and a decorative pond with new walkways and boardwalk. 2003

Statue of Sir Dove-Myer Robinson A memorial sculpture of former Auckland City mayor, Sir Dove-Myer (Robbie) Robinson has been placed in Aotea Square. 2002
