2006 resource consent application
The 2006 resource consent for Eden Park allows for the following:
- a new three-tier South Stand, replacing the old South and South West stands
- a new three-tier East Stand to replace the existing Terraces
- an internal concourse to allow patrons to circulate around the ground inside the stadium
- a sports practise area and open space on the current Number Two ground
- new toilet, corporate and food outlet facilities
- removal of the perimeter fence
- lights incorporated under the South Stand roof to contain light
- a larger number of conferences, meetings and functions on site
- operating conditions during any proposed demolition and construction
- specific operating conditions for Rugby World Cup 2011 and Cricket World Cup 2015
In addition, the Eden Park Trust Board already has a resource consent to demolish and replace the Panasonic Stand with an extension
to the ASB Stand.
