Stage one works were completed at the end of May 2005 and included:

  • removing the existing flying fox and replacing it with a new one
  • formation of a new semi-wetland - included planting appropriate for wetland conditions
  • installation of 
    • new paths on the west side of the park
    • a new novaloo at the northern end of the park
    • new furniture

Stage two works were completed during 2006.

Future funding to implement the concept plan will be sought through the annual plan process and Small Local Improvement Projects (SLIPs). Implementation will be staged over the next ten years or so.
