Consultation and next steps

July 2009.
236 submissions were received
of which 56 % were supporting the proposed changes, 23 % were against.
After considering all the
submissions the August 2009 Transport Committee resolved:

of the CBD to Airport route be implemented.
(B) That the proposed right
turn restrictions at Rangiatea Rd, Gardner Rd and Onslow Ave. be reviewed in
line with the related opposing submissions.

included in the proposed changes which will be implemented.

final design plans for the proposed improvements.
- The procurement for a contractor to undertake the physical works is
expected to be completed by October 2009
