Expressions of Interest to redevelop Langtons tea kiosk
The Maungawhau-Mt Eden management plan (2007) identifies the need to improve
the visitor experience on Maungawhau-Mt Eden. This includes the provision of a
visitors centre in the tea kiosk building (formerly known as Langtons).
In February and March the council invited expressions of interest (EOI) from organisations or individuals who have an interest in
undertaking the redevelopment and operation of the tea kiosk building as a
café/interpretation centre.
Responses to the EOI will help to evaluate the viability of the proposal and
determine the next steps for this project. Please let us know if you have any
