Training partnerships
General information
Training Partnerships allows not-for-profit agencies to participate, at little or no cost, in the training programmes already conducted by training companies
and other businesses.
Eligibility
Training Partnerships has been set up to benefit and up-skill not-for-profit organisations with a community purpose. Those with Trust or Incorporated Society
status are eligible, and the other groups are eligible at the discretion of the Training Partnerships coordinator. Schools are not eligible.
Participation
Anyone within the organisation may be put forward by the organisation for training. This includes paid staff, management group (committee, collective or Board)
and volunteer workers.
Donations of training
The companies that have donated training include commercial training providers and companies that conduct their own internal training for their staff.
- ACE Computer Training
- David Forman Limited
- Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA)
- University of Auckland Business School
Each organisation may make one application (this application may cover up to 15 courses for the year). Where an organisation has branches that operate
independently, each branch may make an application. The first step in applying for training is to identify and prioritise the training needs of your organisation.
Training Partnerships is run on a first serve basis so the earlier organisations get their chosen courses in the more chance they have of attending that course.
At the most, Training Partnerships is offered two places per course.
