If your dog has died please tell us.
You can complete the Notice of Death of a Dog - Form (37Kb PDF) (and attach a copy of
veterinary certificate, if available) and send it with the disc to
Dog Registration, Auckland City Council or visit any Auckland City service centre.
Refunds are only issued upon signed written request either included in the
form or by letter. A refund will be made for each complete month of the
registration year remaining (excluding June) from the date the written
notification is received.
