This service is provided by Auckland City Council as a public service. Use of this service to retrieve information constitutes your awareness and agreement to the following conditions of use.

The food hygiene grade awarded to the premises listed is indicative of the state of the premises observed at the time of the last grading inspection. Food handling practices and the actual compliance of the operator and premises may vary from time to time.

Amended grades resulting from recent inspections will not be displayed immediately due to the need to process the information.

The preparation and provision of the information has been made in good faith from a source which is believed to be reliable. While all due care has been taken, Auckland City Council does not give any warranty that any information contained is accurate.

Auckland City does not invite you or any visitor to act upon the information provided by this service.

Help using this service

1. This service only contains information on food premises within the Auckland City Council boundaries. If you are unsure if the address you are looking for is within Auckland City boundaries, you can check it against the list of suburbs. 
2. You do not need to use wild cards (*) to search for the premises name or street, eg Espla*. If you are unsure of the spelling, enter the first few letters without the wild card.
3. When you enter the address of the food premises you want to look up, enter only the street name in the street name field. If there is more than one street name matching the one you entered, the street and suburb of the premises will be displayed, so you can select the one you want.
4. For major roads that pass through several suburbs (eg Great South Road) you may also want to consider entering the suburb as well to limit the number of results. 
5. If you receive a message that the street you entered could not be located 

• try entering the first few letters of the street name in case we have an alternative spelling
• try re-entering the name of the street on its own, ie leave out the street type such as Avenue, Road, rd, etc.
