Our operational district plans set the ground rules to enable the right kind of development to take place in different parts of the city. In addition to zoning, the Auckland isthmus and Hauraki Gulf island's district plans show other limitations that may apply to particular properties, for example, special height restrictions, protected trees, public works, etc. These additional limitations are geo-coded.

We provide an up to date and accurate digital copy of the district plan.
