Digital orthophotography

Description | Sample | Available data and cost

Description

Orthophotography combines the image characteristics of an aerial photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. Orthophotography maps are geo-referenced and can be used to measure distances, angles, positions, areas and ground features.

We can provide digital orthophotography for the Auckland isthmus and the Hauraki Gulf islands and the whole Auckland region. Orthophotography is available for 2008, 2006, 2002 and selected earlier years.
